Dr. Yong Zhou, is the member of the statistical discipline evaluation group of the State Council academic degrees committee in China, the recipient of the national outstanding youth fund, the Changjiang distinguished professor, the selected candidate for the hundred talents program of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, the expert with special State Council government allowances, the national candidate for hundreds of millions of talents in the new century of China. Currently, he is the vice-director of the faculty of economics and management and the Dean of the Academy of Statistics and Interdisciplinary Sciences in the East China Normal University (ECNU). His research mainly focuses on big data analytic and modeling, statistical theory and methods, financial econometrics, risk management, econometrics and others. His several research achievements have important academic values and significant influences. He has published approximately 200 peer-reviewed journal papers, including the papers on four top statistics journals 《The Annals of Statistics》,《Journal of the American Statistical Association》,《Biometrika》and《Journal of the Royal Statistical Society, Series B》, along with top econometrics journals 《Journal of Econometrics》and《Journal of Business and Economic Statistics》.
